| Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ >>> Published on Sunday, September 18, 2016 <<< Edward William Kirkwood, 61, passed away Sept. 9, 2016 in Lake Havasu City. He was born Sept. 11, 1954 to James and Barbara Kirkwood. Ed was a pioneer of Havasu, moving here in the 70s. He was a heavy equipment operator and enjoyed playing softball in his early days. Ed was one of the Cardinal’s biggest fans and he will be missed by his many friends and family. “Our hats go off to you, Ed, you fought a good fight and we will love you forever. You are home now”. Ed is survived by his sister Debbie, brother James, daughter Shannon and step-daughter Vanessa. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Barbara. A Celebration of Ed’s life will be at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 25, 2016 at BJ’s Bar & Grill in Havasu. Bring a dish as this will be a potluck.
