Richard “Dick” Gallegos passed away at his home on Oct. 27, 2016. He was born in Prescott, Arizona, April 22, 1931.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife and dance partner of 56 years, Betty. He was also preceded in death by his parents; brothers; sisters; son “Dickie” and grandson Mark Anthony.

He is survived by his children Carrie (Dennis) Martin, Teri (Fred) Vasquez, and Mark (Frances) Gallegos: eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Dick served in the Navy and National Guard. He retired from Anamax Mining Co. as a Supervisor. He was a fun loving Father, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather, Uncle, friend, and an avid Arizona Wildcats fan. He will greatly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Services will be held at Adair Funeral Homes Avalon Chapel, 8090 N. Northern Ave. in Oro Valley, Arizona. A visitation will be held on Friday, Nov. 4, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., with a Rosary at 7:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 5, 2016 at 10:00 a.m., followed by burial at Holy Hope Cemetery.
