BIRKHEAD, Alfred

BIRKHEAD, Alfred Alfred Birkhead, 82, of Casa Grande died peacefully at home on April 29, 2009. Mr. Birkhead was born on Oct. 26, 1926. He was very active in community affairs in the Casa Grande Valley. He was a volunteer with the Casa Grande Police Department and worked with Casa Grande TRIAD and Seniors and Law Enforcement Working Together. He served several years on the advisory board of Community Action Human Resources Agency and with the Retired Senior Volunteer Program. He was dedicated to helping people with medical issues. He was a great lover of his cactus gardens and keeping the bird feeders full of seeds. He donated his body to science. Donations may be made in his name to Hospice Family Care.
