James (Jim) Stump, born March 9, 1940 in Midland, Texas, passed away on October 17, 2016 in Prescott Arizona.

Jim was raised in Midland, Texas, where his dream was to be a cowboy. He came to Arizona in 1958 and went to work breaking horses. Later he would also train and shoe horses.

Jim is survived by his wife of 55 years, Kathy; Sons, James and Alvin, Alvin’s wife Candice; Granddaughter Katlyne; Sisters Mary and Paula.

A gathering of friends will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, November 19, 2016 at El Charro del Norte, 2879 Arizona Trail in Chino Valley. Please RSVP to Kathy at 928-533-5537 if you will be attending.
