| The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Sunday, November 6, 2016, page 6a Fred L. Maneely, 78-years old, died on Monday, October 3, 2016. Fred was born on August 17, 1938 in Chicago, Illinois to Frank L and Ann C Maneely. Fred is survived by three daughters – Julie Ann, Deborah, and Victoria – five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Fred was the oldest of three boys; his younger brothers were twins - Paul C. Maneely and Philip R. Maneely. Most of his surviving family still live in the Prescott/Chino Valley area. Known for his easy laugh and jokes, Fred was quick to make your acquaintance and turn you into a life-long friend. He served his country in the US Navy, then came home to Prescott. He most enjoyed his time at the Prescott Fire Department and owning his own long-haul trucking company. After retiring from the Prescott VAMC, you would most likely find him in his shop; restoring a sweet ’57 with tuck-n-roll seats and a righteous engine. A memorial service for family and friends will be held at the Prescott VA Cemetery, Thursday November 17 at 1:00pm. Information provided by survivors. |
