| Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ >>> Published on Friday, October 7, 2016 <<< Frank Michael Austin, 61, of Lake Havasu City passed away Sept. 28, 2016. He was born to Frank L. Austin and Ruby A. Bittner on Oct. 13, 1954. Frank served in the United States Marine Corps 1971-1975. After leaving the military, he went into the trucking business and was employed as a truck driver for Union Oil for many years. Frank then decided to open his own business and became the proud business owner of 520 Productions in Tucson before he retired. Frank enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, boating on the lake, playing with his grandkids, traveling, spending time with his family and friends, and enjoying his special Saturday movie marathons with his fiancé Nancy. Frank was an amazing man. He was a devoted, loving, and giving son, brother, father, grandfather, fiancé, step-father and a great friend to everyone. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Frank was preceded in death by his father, Frank L. Austin. Frank is survived by his mother Ruby Bittner of Lake Havasu City, brother Robert Austin of Lake Havasu City, children Jesse Austin of China, Adrian Austin of Tucson, Sarah Austin of Tucson, Kimberly Austin of Tucson, Michael Davis of California, and Michelle Davis of California and grandchildren Trevor Bloomquist, Ella Austin, Veronica Booneville, Lillian Davis and Mathew Davis. His fiancé, Nancy Anderson of Lake Havasu City, step-daughters Whitney Hopper of Las Vegas and Courtney Pruitt of Las Vegas, son-in-laws Johnny Hopper of Las Vegas, and Ryan Pruitt of Las Vegas.
