Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ >>> Published on October 12, 2016 <<< Marilee Joan Lewald, 85, passed away Sept. 14, 2016 in Lake Havasu City. Marilee was born to Dewey Leon Belisle and Ruth Melvina Belisle on March 27, 1931. Joan was employed by C.W. Brooks for 30 years in retail sales then became a seamstress when she moved to Lake Havasu City in 1990. Joan enjoyed gardening, sewing, cooking, occasional jaunts to the casinos, and especially being together with her family, friends and her dog Ginger. Joan was preceded in death by her parents Dewey and Ruth Belisle. Joan is survived by her sister Nova J. Morris, niece Cathy Morris- Ochs, nephew Johnny G. Morris, great-nieces Janell Edgemon and Amie Morris, nephew Duane Morris and great-nephew Harlan Morris and her beloved dog Ginger. Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
