Eddie Ross Spencer, 67, left this world Nov. 3, 2016 in Lake Havasu
City after a long hard battle with cancer and dementia.

He was born March 1, 1949 to Ross J. Spencer and Dora Mae Spencer in
Payson, Utah. He was the second of six children.

In 1966, Eddie enlisted in the Army. He was a proud Vietnam veteran.
He loved his country.

He married the love of his life, Marnell Braithwaite Spencer, Feb.
6, 1970. Together they shared the best of life, including the birth
of their children, Clinton Eddie and Shana Leigh. Eddie was a
professional carpet installer.

In 1987, Eddie and Marnell opened Spencer’s Carpet and Tile,
enjoying the many customers and friends they met. He retired in 2014
due to his illness. A true adventurous spirit with a love of boats,
cars, motorcycles and anything with a motor he could make go faster.
Eddie enjoyed fishing, off-road racing and many other activities. He
was also the 1980 K Boat National Champion.

He was preceded in death by his mother, brother Chris Spencer, son-
in-law Michael Allan Davis and nephew Carter Benson. He loved his
family and friends.

It’s difficult to sum up a life so full in just a few words. Eddie
always made friends wherever he went. He was a dreamer and an
adventurer. Thanks for all the memories.

Visitation will be at 11 a.m. Nov.11 at Larkin Sunset Garden
Cemetery with services to follow at 1 p.m.
