Karen Marie (Paul) Haight

Karen Marie Haight, 74, passed away peacefully Oct. 12, 2016 while
under the care of Hospice of Havasu in Lake Havasu City.

Karen is survived by Jim Haight, her loving husband of 24 years, her
children Catherine, Michael and Victor, step-daughters Cheryl, Karen
and Kathy as well as eight grandchildren. Karen is also survived by
her brother Ronald and sister-in-law Darlene.

Karen was born Oct.30, 1941 in Detroit, Michigan to Alberta Mary
Paul and Victor E. Paul. Karen attended Nazareth College in
Kalamazoo, Mich. where she graduated in 1963. She taught elementary
school in Livonia, Mich. until 1965.

In October 1992, Karen and Jim were married and eventually made
Havasu their home. They lived and worked together for many years and
shared a love for travel, boating and classic cars. Karen was a long
time member of Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church and an
active member of the Lake Havasu City Chapter of the Philanthropic
Educational Organization (PEO).

Karen will be remembered for her caring heart and for the love she
showered on her friends and family. She will be deeply missed by her
family and the friends that she made and kept throughout her life.

A funeral Mass is at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28 at Our Lady of the Lake
Roman Catholic Church, 1975 Daytona Ave., Lake Havasu City. The Mass
will be preceded by a Rosary at 12:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the PEO
