| Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ >>> Published on Thursday, October 20, 2016 <<< Sharon Lambert, 77, of Lake Havasu City passed away Oct. 15, 2016. Sharon was born to Richard and Louise Greeley on Jan. 26, 1939. Sharon attended Catholic Central and graduated in 1956 and went on to become a proud graduate of Miami of Ohio University in 1960. She married her husband in Grand Rapids, Mich., on Dec. 26, 1959. They moved from Grand Rapids, Mich. to Lake Havasu City, in 1966 and have resided there ever since. Sharon had many hobbies and interests. She enjoyed sewing, camping, traveling, reading, watching Notre Dame football, education, and spending time with her family. Sharon was the owner of Cactus Fabric Shop in Havasu, from 1968- 1979. Sharon thoroughly loved to teach, being a substitute teacher at Lake Havasu High School from 1985-2002. She was very proud of her work with the drug diversion program at Lake Havasu High School, where she was recognized with numerous awards. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Louise Greeley. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Roger L. Lambert Sr., of Lake Havasu City, son Roger L. Lambert Jr. of Surprise, three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A Rosary will be said at 11 a.m., with Mass to follow on Oct. 24, at 11:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church.
