| Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ >>> Published on Thursday, November 3, 2016 <<< David Albert Yinger, 80, passed away Oct. 31, 2016 in Lake Havasu City. He was born Nov. 16, 1936 in Erie, Mich., to Delmar and Lorine (Burgard) Yinger. David served his country proudly in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged. He married his wife, Irene, on Oct. 12, 1957 in Monroe, Mich. Together they moved to Havasu from Erie, Mich. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, American Legion and SASS Gun Club. He will be deeply missed. David is survived by his wife of nearly 60 years, Irene, of Lake Havasu City, sons David (Lynda) Yinger and John (Samantha) Yinger, seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a sister Norine (Monte) Jackson. He was preceded in death by his parents. Services are pending and will take place in Monroe, Mich. at a later date.
