Death of Mrs. Johnson

Died at Mayer, December 2 at 3 p.m., Mrs. Grace Johnson, wife of J. N. Johnson, whose death was very sudden indeed.

Mrs. Grace (Overman) Johnson has lived in this neighborhood for several years past and we all know her life will be sainted. She was a devoted wife and sister. The relatives have the profound sympathies of all.

To the memory of her who for years was the light of my home, whose faith, sweet and tender spirit, and beautiful life were a constant inspiration and a rich foundation of moral and spiritual strength; who in the face of death was as fearless as innocence itself and as calm as the setting sun; and the hope of meeting whom beyond the skies makes even heaven appear more attractive.

Transcriber's note. Mrs. Johnson is buried in an unmarked grave at the Citizens Cemetery in Prescott, Arizona.
