Hal Douglas Martin, 73, of Lake Havasu City passed away peacefully
Oct. 24, 2016 at home, surrounded by his family.

Hal was born Sept. 23, 1943 to Harry and Belle Martin in Plum City,
Wisconsin. Hal graduated from Arkansaw High School in 1961 and
married Polly Sinz in 1964. They raised three children in Mt. Iron,
Minn. until they moved to Alaska in 1985. He worked for Operating
Engineers Local 302 until he retired and moved to Lake Havasu City
in 2003.

Hal enjoyed watching people fish at Site 6, Havasu 95 Speedway, the
Green Bay Packers, NASCAR, and playing cards with family and
friends. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend.
He will be deeply missed by all.

Hal was preceded in death by his parents Harry and Belle Martin,
brother-in-law Leslie Richardson and nephew Arlen Richardson.

He is survived by Polly, his wife of 52 years, son Brian (Michelle
Moser) Martin of Lake Havasu City, daughter Shelly (Larry Larson)
Allen of Juneau, Alaska, Terry (Bonnie) Martin of Eugene, Ore.,
grandchildren Braden (Lyric) Martin of Idaho, Megan Martin of
California, Kolbi Martin of Eugene, Ore., sister Lois Richardson of
Plum City, Wis. and numerous family members.

His funeral service is 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 26, at St. Henry’s
Catholic Church in Eau Galle, Wis. Visitation is one hour prior to
the service.

Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
