| Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ >>> Published on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 <<< Douglas Ross Buhler, 68, of Lake Havasu City and a longtime resident of Lodi, California, went home to be with his Lord, Nov. 7, 2016. He was born Feb. 3, 1948 to Aaron & Dorothy Buhler. Ross was raised in Lodi and graduated from Lodi Union High School in 1966. Following high school, he attended Delta College. Shortly after, he joined the Marines. Ross proudly served his country and is a Vietnam War veteran. Ross’s passion was restoring classic cars. He belonged to the Havasu Classics Car Club. He was preceded in death by his parents, Aaron and Dorothy Buhler. Douglas is survived by his son Clint Buhler, daughter Laura (David) Hamilton, brother Dwight Buhler, sister Donna (Roger) Schimke, grandchildren Megan, Kyle, Nolan, Emma, Aubrie and Jordan, nieces Denise, Heather, and Rhoda, his beloved fiancé Judi Dockter Archuleta and his dear friends Lil and Bill Meehan. Ross had many special friends and will always be remembered for his keen wit and sense of humor. He will be missed by all who knew him.
