Judith Ann (Oldham) Diaz

Judith Ann Diaz (Oldham), 67 of Bullhead City, Ariz. passed away
peacefully surrounded by family and friends in Phoenix, Ariz. on
November 3, 2016. There will be a Celebration of Life at Suddenlink
Community Center 2380 3rd St., Bullhead City, Ariz. 86442 from
11a.m. - 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 26, 2016.

Judy was born in Duncan, Okla., to Ed and Winnie Oldham. The Oldham
family moved to Riverside, Calif., where her father was a carpenter
and her mother was a cafeteria worker for the School of the Blind.
Judy met Al Diaz while attending Ramona High School.

After graduation, they married and had two daughters, Kristina and
Brandy. Due to air pollution concerns in California the Diaz family
moved to Bullhead City, Ariz.

The family enjoyed fishing and water sports along the Colorado River
and Lake Mohave. The family was also well known in Bobby Sox
softball, which the girls played.

Judy and Al later divorced after 21 years of marriage. Her interests
included her love for Akitas, cooking, crocheting, scuba diving and
line dancing with close friends at the Laughlin Line Dancing Club.

Judy spent years working her way up to a loan officer at the State
Bank. She also spent a few years on the Planning & Zoning
Commission. She later worked at various law offices as a legal
secretary until she became a judicial assistant for Mohave County.
Judy was working as Assistant Court Administrator for the City of
Bullhead City.

She is survived by her daughter’s; Kristina Jensen and Brandy Blair;
sons-in-law Bob Jensen and Kenny Blair; grandchildren; Gabriel
Blair, Tyler Jensen and Katelyn Jensen; her niece Stacey Meier and
her great nephew Ashton Meier and the rest of her relatives and
friends. She was preceded in death by her mother and father Ed and
Winnie Oldham and her sister Carol Meier.

Donations, in lieu of flowers, can be sent to the American Cancer
Society.
