| Kingman Daily Miner, Kingman, AZ >>> Published on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 <<< Stephen Augustus Durbin Sr. was born Feb. 26, 1946 and passed away on Nov. 9, 2016 at the Joan and Diana Hospice in Kingman, Ariz. Stephen was born in Lynwood, Calif., and grew up in South Gate, Calif., then later moved to Mesquite, Nev. Stephen was a truck driver, studied business law at Fullerton College, played baseball, was an umpire and loved to bowl. He was also a veteran who served in the Vietnam War in the Air Force. He was preceded in death by his parents Earl and Doris Durbin and brother Dennis Durbin Sr. He is survived by his sister Deanie Glasgow of Simi Valley, Calif.; sons Aaron (Richelle) Durbin, Stephen (Angela) Durbin II; grandchildren Aryn, Ryan, Damian, Sydney, Stephen III, Catreece, Hailey, Shantel, Joshua; great- grandchildren Stephen IIII, Degin, Christopher, AnnaLee, Andrew, Alayna, and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project in his name. There will be celebration of life at a later date. |
