| Prescott Journal Miner, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, February 16, 1910, page 5, column 6 Declined To Give Her Name After a few months as an inmate of the county hospital, Mrs. Grace Jones, a woman about 30 years of age, who was just a short time ago residing in Williams, passed away. Her name was an assumed one, and before the end came she was importuned to give her true name, but refused to do so. She is said to have two sons attending St. Vincent's College, in Los Angeles, and was born in Scotland.. Other that this, nothing could be learned as to her identity. She expressed herself forcibly a few days ago, on her past life, and desired to leave the world without any trace of her family relations. Her only request was to be laid away in a white shroud and this will be complied with by several charitably inclined women in the city providing one. Transcriber's note: Mrs. Jones is buried in an unmarked grave at the Citizens Cemetery in Prescott, Arizona. |
Note: These obituaries are transcribed as published and are submitted by volunteers who have no connection to the families. They do not write the obituaries and have no further information other than what is posted within the obituaries. We do not do personal research. For this you would have to find a volunteer who does this or hire a professional researcher.
