| Kingman Daily Miner, Kingman, AZ >>> Published on Sunday, November 20, 2016 <<< Susan M. Beatty (née Stregl) passed away on Nov. 18, 2016. She was born Oct. 30, 1943, in Chicago, Ill. Her primary business activity was as a waitress and restaurant manager for Denny’s in Texas and Arizona. She retired in 2000 and has lived in Kingman since 2001. Susan married Richard Beatty on June 23, 2007. They had recently celebrated their 112th anniversary (in months). Richard survives Susan, along with her son, Alfonse (Los Angeles); her daughter Yvonne and fiancée Paul (Palos Heights, Ill.); grandsons Matthew and Andrew, great-granddaughter Martyna, and one niece and two nephews. A sister and both parents predeceased her. Susan was an active member of the Kingman Presbyterian Church (EPC) since 2003, where she served as a deacon for six years and participated in the KPC’s intercessors group on spiritual warfare. As was Susan’s wish, no services will be held. |
