| Kingman Daily Miner, Kingman, AZ >>> Published on Thursday, November 10, 2016 <<< Nathan James Keener, 29 years old, went home to be with his Lord on Sunday, Nov. 6, 2016. His faith in God and love of family and friends is what carried him through life. He was eager to share his faith and love by helping others whenever possible. Nathan was born on June 8, 1987, in Phoenix to Kevin and Teri Keener, the oldest of four children. He loved others deeply, possessed a contagious smile and an endearing sense of humor. Throughout his life he maintained a caring demeanor that won the hearts and trust of many, who even now are being changed by his witness of constant love, caring and faith. Nathan graduated with honors from ITTech with an Associates degree in Computer Electronics. He had a deep passion for music and was particularly talented with the bass guitar, loved all things BMX and found true joy when he was on his bike. However, what he loved most was his family. He and his wife Jessica, started their friendship at the age of 3, maintained their relationship throughout the years before finally getting married. He loved and accepted his stepson Sawyer as his own and eagerly formed a bond with him. He found his greatest joy in their daughter, Aria- Lyn. He is preceded in death by his mother, Teri Lynn Keener (Posey). He is survived by his wife, Jessica Keener; a stepson, Sawyer Nutt; a daughter, Aria-Lyn Keener; his father, Kevin (Sue-Ann) Keener; a sister, Jessica (Aaron) Harris; two brothers, Caleb and Zachary Keener; two stepsisters, Shea Moma (daughter Brielle) and Chera Mello; two stepbrothers, Corbett (Kristen) Moma (son Tayden) and Tarren Moma; as well as many aunts; uncles; grandparents; in-laws and friends. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, 2016, in Central Christian Church in downtown Kingman. In lieu of flowers or gifts, donations to help the family and children with expenses can be made at Bank of America into Savings Acct #457035609809. We ask that you make time to spend with your children, take a walk with your loved ones and hug them often, ride your bike at every opportunity, and to make a commitment to enduring friendships, in this life and beyond. That is what Nathan would wish for you. |
