| Kingman Daily Miner, Kingman, AZ >>> Published on Sunday, November 6, 2016 <<< Don Allan Wood, 71, of Kingman, passed away in October 2016. He was born in 1945 to Calvin and Betty (Stephenson) Wood. Don married the love of his life, Kathy, celebrating 50 wonderful years together this last year. Don graduated from high school and became a welder and then a boilermaker, which lead him to becoming an operations engineer. He was a green beret in the Army Special Forces. Don also enjoyed the outdoors, including hunting and fishing. Don is survived by his wife Kathy; son Will Wood and significant other Erin; a daughter, Kay (David) Hill; a brother, Glen (Virginia) Simmons; grandchildren: Nate, Eryn, Alex, Amanda and Becca; and great-grandchild Maddi. He also leaves behind his much loved brother and sister-in-law, Lynn and Maggie Wolfinger, and daughters-in-law Jess and Mindy. Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory handled arrangements.
