| Kingman Daily Miner, Kingman, AZ >>> Published on Friday, October 28, 2016 <<< Michael “Dayne” Bracken was born on Jan. 4, 1970, in Kingman. He was suddenly taken from us way too soon on Oct. 25, 2016, at the age of 46 in Kingman. When Dayne was 1, the family moved to Purcell, Okla. He attended Wayne School until his junior year. At the age of 17, the family moved back to Kingman and he graduated from Kingman High School in 1989. Dayne was a hard working, dedicated employee of BNSF Railroad for the last 20 years. He served as roadmaster over the Kingman territory. He always talked of retirement and he and his wife, Roxy, traveling the country in their motorhome. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting, fishing, camping, boating trips to the lake and especially trips to Glamis with family and friends. Racing was in his blood, and the children followed suit. Dayne is survived by his wife Roxanne; daughters Rachel and Cassidy Bracken and bonus children Matt, Shane and Melani Padilla; parents Wayne and Barbara Bracken; sister Shaleen Bracken; nieces Kelsey and Karley Reed; Godchildren Jolea and David Hoehne; and many other loving family members and friends. He will be sorely missed, but will live on in our hearts forever as he touched so many lives. The family would like to thank everyone for their kind words, condolences, great stories, love and support. There will be a celebration of Dayne’s life at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, 2016 in the Kingman Elks Lodge, 900 Gates Ave, Kingman. |
