Audrey Belle Jettner passed away at the age of 88 on Oct. 13, 2016,
at her home in Kingman, Arizona.

Audrey was born on Saint Patrick’s Day, March 17, 1928, in Akron,
Ohio.

She graduated from Kenmore High School in Akron and was employed in
the hospitality industry and worked as a bookkeeper.

Audrey was instrumental in establishing the Maryvale Chapter of the
Girl Scouts of America in Phoenix and served as a Girl Scout leader
during the 1950s. In high school she was active with the Glee Club
and furthered her love of music through the 1960s, singing and
playing piano with church choirs in the Phoenix area.

Audrey’s highest priority and greatest love were her family and
friends. Her home was always open to the numerous friends of her
four daughters. She loved having young people around her and was the
matron of many parties and social gatherings.

She was a remarkable cook and was renowned for her Thanksgiving and
Christmas dinners.

Audrey was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Geno Jettner, who
passed on May 3, just four months prior to her death. She also was
predeceased by her daughter, Coleen Cohea, who died in 1986.

She is survived by daughters Sundie Vredenburg, Jonene Graham and
Wendy Ford; five grandchildren (Johnny, Toby, Jarrod, Everett and
Alexander), as well as 12 great-grandchildren.

Audrey was a loving, caring woman who loved to sing and dance. We
will miss her smile and the twinkle in her eyes. We love you, Mom.
We love you, Grandma.

Arrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home
and Crematory. Thoughts and condolences may be submitted to the
