Jerry Ray Chrismer, 69, of Parker, passed away peacefully surrounded
by family on Sept. 11 at Casa de la Luz in Tucson.

Jerry did not want a service. He wished to be cremated and have his
ashes spread in some of his favorite places.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations in his honor may be given to
Casa de la Luz (Inpatient, Hospice & Grief Support) at 7740 North
Oracle Road, Tucson, AZ 85704 or website www.casafoundation.org.
This place was truly amazing and a blessing to us.

Jerry was born in Fresno, Calif., Dec. 21, 1946 to his parents
Donald (Don) and Alice Chrismer. They moved from Coarsegold to
Blythe, Calif., in 1958. He graduated from Palo Verde High School in
1964 in Blythe.

Jerry married Linda (Clark) May 18, 1968. They celebrated 48 years
together this year. They lived in Poston Valley where they had two
children, Steven and Jennifer.

Jerry followed in his dad and uncle Bill’s footsteps and worked as a
farmer for Chrismer Farms and then managed Shawler Farms. Later
creating his own business, J & L Custom Hay Service.

He enjoyed racing in his earlier years, jeep trips out on the
desert, camping, hunting, fishing and spending time at their
retirement place in Oracle. He was also actively involved in CRIT
Fire Department, Poston Rotary, Farm Bureau, and helped with the Laz
Paz County Fair.

Jerry is survived by his wife Linda in Oracle, their children Steven
(Lisa) in Tucson and Jennifer (Scot) in Mankato Minn., grandchildren
Trevor and Luke (Steven and Lisa’s), sister Carol (Gary) in San
Pedro, Calif., and cousin Sharon (Brad) in Salome, and other family
and friends.

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents Donald (Don) and Alice
Chrismer.
