| Parker Pioneer, Parker, AZ >>> Published on Monday, July 11, 2016 <<< Memorial services for Gary Lee Peveler, 66, of Thoreau, N.M., were held June 23, 2016 at Compassion Mortuary. Burial was held June 23, 2016 at the Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, N.M. Gary was born on Dec. 13, 1949 in Albuquerque, N.M. and he passed away June 14, 2016 in Thoreau, N.M. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Vietnam. He resided in Parker, Ariz. for over 40 years before retiring from the local telephone company as a lineman/repairman. He moved back to New Mexico after retiring to spend his time hunting and fishing. He is survived by his children, Michael Peveler of Fort Bragg, N.C.; Curtis Peveler of Parker, Ariz.; Nicole Peveler of Vancouver, Wash.; and Thomasina Peveler of Parker, Ariz. He is also survived by his brother, Gale Peveler of Albuquerque, N.M.; sister June Montoya, and his nine grandchildren. See Also: Find A Grave |
