Parker Pioneer, Parker, AZ >>> Published on Thursday, June 2, 2016 <<< >>> Sept. 23, 1947-May 1, 2016 <<< Janis Elizabeth Wiebeck, a long-time resident of Parker, passed away peacefully May 1. Janis lived a colorful life and had a free spirit. Many in our community will remember her walking around the town and would offer her assistance as needed. She had been under the care of the La Paz County Public Fiduciary’s office for the last three years of her life. She resided at Lake View Terrace Assisted Living, where she flourished and her caring nature was recognized. She was laid to rest in St. Francis Catholic Cemetery in Phoenix, next to her father, Herman Wiebeck, who preceded her in death. Funeral arrangements were provide by Colorado River Funeral Services. A special thank you to Lorrie Muriel for going above and beyond. Janis, you will truly be missed and will be forever in our hearts.
