On Sunday, Nov. 6, 2016, Charles Dean Dykstra, 56, of Camden, Tenn.,
left this earthly plane and went home.

Charles “Chuck” Dykstra was a jack of all trades. Among them, he
served in the U.S. Navy, was an entrepreneur, and for the last 18
years he drove trucks for Marten Transport.

He was larger than life with a personality and a heart to match. He
was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, son, uncle, and friend.
When surrounded by friends, family, or people he just met, he was
happiest if he could brighten your day.

His humor was his trademark, and he was always there, whether you
needed someone to listen, a shoulder to cry on, or the best hugs in
the world. Our loss is undeniably Heaven’s gain.

Chuck is survived by his sister, Emmy Dufrane; brother, Fred
Dykstra; and five children: April Callen, Stephanie Baker, Patricia
Dykstra, Joshua Dykstra, and Jason Dykstra; 11 grandchildren, and
one great grandchild.

Services will be held at St. John’s Methodist Church on Monday, Nov.
28 at 6:30 p.m. There will be a potluck following the service. The
family asks that you please let us know if you’re able to come, and
please don’t wear any strong perfume, for those with asthma.

We look forward to celebrating his life with all of you.
