Eileen Loots, 94, passed away peacefully Nov. 21, 2016 at home.

Eileen was born Sept. 14, 1922 in Clare, Iowa to Fred and Emma 
Holst.

She met Karl Loots and they married April 11, 1947 after his 
discharge from the Marines.

They resided in Fort Dodge, Iowa where she was a devoted mother to 
her three children. They retired to Lake Havasu City in 1973.

Eileen was a lifetime member of the Elkettes. She was an avid RVer 
and enjoyed spending her summers in Show Low, Arizona.

She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings. Karl, her 
husband of 60 years, passed away in 2008.

Eileen is survived by her three children, Rick (Mary) Loots of 
LaRue, Ark., Karla (Ronald) Proffitt of Fort Worth, Texas, and Jon 
Loots of Janesville, Wis.; three grandchildren Mason Proffitt of 
Azle, Texas, Eli (Gaby) Loots of Oakland, Calif., Jarrett (Martha) 
Loots of Edmonds, Wash. and two great-grandchildren, Kara and Aidan 
Loots.

She will be greatly missed.
