| Camp Verde Bugle, Camp Verde, Arizona Thursday, November 10, 2016 Wayne Reed, 92, passed away on November 3 in his home. He is survived by his wife, Verlea, of 68 years, his 4 children and their spouses, 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 5 great, great grandchildren. His parents and three sibling preceded him in death. He proudly served with distinction in the United States Navy during World War II aboard the USS HONOLULU. He and Verlea were married in 1948 and moved to Arizona in 1979. He was a wonderful, amazing, strong, hard-working, loving husband, father and grandfather. He will truly be missed and forever remembered and cherished by his family and friends. Memorial services will be held on November 21 at 1 pm at the Beaver Creek Baptist Church, 3705 East Beaver Creek Road, Rimrock, Arizona.
