(From Monday's Daily)

Pat Haney, a young man about seventeen years old, met his death yesterday at the Blue Bell mine.

He was engaged in timbering the shaft with a man names Andrew Riley, and lost his footing, falling a distance of 120 feet to the bottom of the shaft. His neck was broken in the fall and death was instantaneous.

His father resides in Prescott and the body was brought here today for burial.

Transcriber's note: Mr. Haney is buried in an unmarked grave at the Citizens Cemetery in Prescott, Arizona.
