| Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ >>> Published on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 <<< Pearl Kerr, 72, of Lake Havasu City passed away Nov. 10, 2016 in Havasu. She was born to Alexander Spence and Olive Smith Jan. 29, 1944. Pearl was born and raised in Los Angeles County and attended San Pedro High School. It was there she met and married James Larson and had two children - Sheri and David. She later married Larry Kerr and they had Christina. The family relocated to Buena Park, Calif. where she raised Christina, David and Sheri. Pearl was very patriotic, loved to dance and was a NASCAR fan, rooting for Junior No. 88. She enjoyed a career in the logistics and trucking industry. In her spare time, Pearl enjoyed crocheting, was a great cook, was always available to house sit, dog sit and hang out with her grandbabies. Pearl was preceded in death by her parents Alexander Spence and Olive Smith, and all of her siblings: Anita, Arland, Harvey and Georgina. She is survived by her son David Larson, daughters Sheri Pontilillo and Christina Weissmann, 11 grandchildren and 13 great- grandchildren. Pearl’s service is at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 3. Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
