Marcella (Randall) Minar

Marcella Minar, 86, passed away Nov. 22, 2016 in Lake Havasu City.

She was born to Joseph Randall and Mary Steffen April 28, 1930 in
Wahpeton, North Dakota.

Marcella married LeRoy Minar Nov. 27, 1950. They spent 30 years in
Seattle raising their five children. They later relocated to
Everett, Wash. for 12 years. They enjoyed the sunshine of Arizona
and became winter visitors to Lake Havasu since the early 1990s.
They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary three weeks before
his passing in December 2000.

Marcella spent her working career as a seamstress. She was a member
of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary, Veterans of Foreign Wars
Ladies Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary and Our Lady’s Rosary
Makers. Marcella loved playing cards and making rosaries with her
loving family of friends through the church.

She is survived by her sons Jarman (Karen) Minar, Jeffery (Alisa)
Minar and Joel (Jean) Minar of Washington, daughters Janelle
(Gordon) Kortlever of Washington and Jolene Jensen of Lake Havasu
City, sister Leona Johnson of N.D., brothers Frank Randall of
Minnesota and Ken Randall of Minnesota, 12 grandchildren and eight
great-grandchildren.

A Rosary is set for 4 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2 at Lietz-Fraze Funeral
Home Chapel. Marcella’s service is 1 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 3 at Our
Lady of the Lake Catholic Church.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Oremus Rosary Makers at
Our Lady of the Lake, 1975 Daytona Ave., Lake Havasu City, Arizona
86403.

Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
