| Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ >>> Published on Saturday, December 3, 2016 <<< Dr. Kent Lewis Gwynne, 75, passed away Sept. 27, 2016. He was born Oct. 2, 1940. Kent and his family moved to Lake Havasu City in August 1969. He was one of the original faculty at Lake Havasu High School, teaching drama, English, Southwest History and psychology for the next 10 years. He was involved with the Magic Club as well as many other clubs. He taught evening college classes in the area for Arizona Western College. He was well-liked as a teacher, enjoyed teaching and continued studying education, receiving his Doctorate in Education. Kent is survived by his daughter Penny Gwynne of Scottsdale, wife Elizabeth Gwynne of Golden Valley, former wife Vickie Gwynne of Lake Havasu City, and sister La Donna Hennington of Artesia, N.M. |
