Phillip Hinks, 93 of Cottonwood, passed away on November 2, 2016. He was born on October 25, 1923, in San Bernardino, CA to Joseph and Lily Hinks.

Phillip served his country in the Army during WWII. He worked as an auto mechanic and was President of the Lions Club in Ojai, CA.

Phillip was preceded in death by his first wife Betty Hinks. He is survived by his second wife of 47 years, Esther of Cottonwood; sons Dana Hinks of Las Vegas, Lester Hinks (Missy) of Ojai, CA, Stan Prado of Cottonwood and Jay Prado of Oak View, CA; daughter Loline Evans (Mark) of Castle Rock, CO; 17 grandchildren and too many to count of great-grandchildren.

Inurnment will be held at Prescott National Cemetery at a later date.
