WOHLBRUCK, Steven Edward

WOHLBRUCK, Steven Edward Steven Edward Wohlbruck, passed away January 10, 2003 at the age of 45. He was born in Erie, Pennsylvania and attended Padua High School in Parma, Ohio. He graduated from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA with a B.A. degree and attended Cleveland State University for graduate studies. He moved to Arizona in the early 1980s. Steve was a manager at the Gold Rush clothing store in Sun City West for over 12 years and Business Manager at the Theatre Works in Peoria, Az. for over 5 years. He joined the Recreation Centers of Sun City in 2001 as the Manager of Clubs and Activities where he attained considerable success in applying his skills and experience for procuring entertainment, facility scheduling, creating promotional materials and working with Sun City volunteers. He is survived by his sister, Christine Lamachy and her family of San Jose, Ca., and other family in Altoona, Pa. and Chalfont, Pa. Thankful for having shared his life are Mr. & Mrs. Ted Lee of Sun City, Az. and numerous friends in Phoenix, Peoria, Glendale and Sun City as well as co-workers at the Recreation Centers of Sun City. A memorial service was held on Monday, January 20, 2003 at the Shepherd of the Desert Lutheran Church in Sun City, AZ. Published in the Arizona Republic on 1/16/2003.
