| Prescott Evening Courier, Prescott, Arizona Tuesday, Sept. 23, 1943, page 3, column 1 Hold Funeral Rites for Claude Diskin Cpl. Claude Lawrence Diskin, who was one of the victims of the Labor Day train wreck in Philadelphia, was laid to rest in the family plot in the Mountain View Cemetery yesterday morning following services held at the Lester Ruffner funeral home at 10 o'clock. Services were conducted by the Rev. Charles Franklin Parker and military honors, with a firing squad, were accorded by the Ernest A. Love post, American Legion. The pallbearers yesterday included, Lloyd Heller, Gene Burkwell, Bruno Rezzonico, Jake Cook, Jack Branch, Quirico Rezzonico. Cpl. was a member of the paratroopers unit which was ready to embark for foreign service when the accident occurred. He had been on a short leave before going to the point of embarkation.
