Tammy Lynn Nagel, 43, died Thursday, December 1, 2016 at St. Anthony Hospital in Denver, Colorado. She was born August 16, 1973, in Cottonwood, Arizona, to Steven Strand and Lindy (Blanton) Strand.

She grew up and attended schools in Cottonwood, Arizona, graduating in 1993.

During her school years, Tammy enjoyed 4-H, FFA and rodeo.

She worked as a CNA at Park Lane Nursing Home in Scott City, KS, and as a cattle processor in Kearny County.

In 1995, she married Thomas Archer. Three children were born to this union: Tyler Archer, Hutchinson, KS; Thomas (TJ) Archer, Deerfield, KS and Ashley Archer, Garden City, KS. They survive.

Other survivors include her mother and stepfather, Lindy and Dave Johnson, Garden City; three sisters, Crystal and William Kirk, Camp Verde, AZ; April and L. Jay Geist, Eldorado, KS; Heather Strand, Garden City, KS; two nieces, Hillery and Cheyenne; two nephews Austin, Porter and William; three stepchildren Chelsie and Chris White; Cody and Danielle Nagel; Cassie Nagel, and two step grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by father, Steven Strand.

Memorial service is at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, First Christian Church, Scott City, KS. Memorials may be made to Ashley Archer Memorial Scholarship Fund. There will be no calling times.
