| Arizona Weekly Journal Miner, Prescott, Arizona Territory Wednesday, February 8, 1898, page 3, column 5 George W. Kingman, a veteran and well known freighter of this section, died at the Sister's hospital Sunday morning of rheumatism. Deceased was about 50 years old and was an industrious and well respected citizen. His funeral occurred this afternoon at 4 o'clock from S. A. Logan's undertaking establishment, under the auspices of the Grand Army of the Republic, of which he was a member.
