Green born Nov. 13, 1931 to Raymond Lee Green and Marguerite Craft. Jay was married first to Jewel Fowler, and later divorced in 1978. Jay married Peggy Lou Keniston Valdez on Nov. 16, 1979. Jay was in the Air Force and was proud to have served his country. Over the years he had many jobs, but he finished his career after many years at Southern California Edison. Jay and Peggy both retired from Edison and moved to Parker, where they lived until they moved to Lake Havasu City. He lived in Havasu until our heavenly father took him home Wednesday, Dec. 7. He was preceded in death by both his parents, eldest son Gerald R. Green, and his wife Peggy. He is survived by his two sons Charles Alan Green of Bullhead City and James Kelly Green of Austin, Texas, two step-children Dann Valdez of Hesperia, Calif. and Paula Carter of Lake Havasu. He had six grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. A celebration of life is Jan. 16, 2017 at 1 p.m. at Take Off Point in Parker.
