Man Drops Dead

Thursday night, at 9:30 o'clock, Thomas O'Day fell to the floor of the Wellington saloon, expiring a few minutes afterwards. His death was due to heart failure.

A doctor was hastily summoned but his life was extinct before he arrived. Justice of the Peace McLane was at once notified, a coroner's jury was summoned, and a verdict rendered that deceased came to his death from heart failure.

O'Day was aged about 41 years and a native of New York. He had been a resident of this city for several years previous to his death. He was a miner by occupation but on account of failing health had not worked at his occupation for some time.

He leaves no immediate relatives in this section. Funeral arrangements have not yet been completed.

Transcriber's note: Mr. O'Day is buried at the Citizens Cemetery in Prescott, Arizona.
