Murphy, 72, died peacefully at her home in Prescott, Arizona, on Thursday, Dec. 15, 2016, among the comfort and presence of family and friends. She worked as a Registered Nurse at various hospitals during her career, including Yavapai Regional Medical Center, and retired in 2004. She was respected by many members in the community, loved dearly by her family and many friends, and will be greatly missed. Survived by her son, Sterling (Cody) Bennett; her daughter, Summer Hicks; two grandsons, Liston Bennett and Dylan Hicks; and her beloved dog, Maggie Murphy. Memorial services will be held April 4, 2017, at noon; location TBA. Information provided by survivors. |
