He had suffered from dementia. Gerlad was born in Bay City, Mich. He had three grandsons: Gerald (Karen, Carl and Leonard. He had a brother, Bob, who passed and nephews Mel (Joyce) and Bob 9YOLI0 who remain. One son, Vernon (Janice) passed in 2010. His hobbies were hunting, fishing, boating and traveling in his motorhome. He enjoyed dancing at Eagles with his special sweetie, Janice. Cremation has taken place. No services are planned at this time.
