| The Camp Verde Bugle, Camp Verde, Arizona Thursday, December 15, 2016 Leonard “Len” Van Cramer, July 30, 1935 - November 7, 2016. A Sacramento native, Len worked as a sound technician for California State University in the Performing Arts Theater. Len was later hired at American River College where he worked until retirement as an audio/visual and computer technical coordinator for the Learning Resource Center. Len had a love of jazz and symphony and an eye for the landscape around him. He studied with Ansel Adams, capturing the west in a collection of photographs soon to be on display at the Roseville California Historic Museum. Len moved to Arizona with a passion for western history, guns, big sky views and a round of golf. To the Cowboy at heart: “We just said goodbye and I miss you already, wind calls and whispers, crickets chirp under the moon, dreams float up to the sky”. Len is survived by some of his oldest friends who love him dearly and those he may have met in a café. Thanks for letting us know you, it was a pleasure. You are the best kind of friend anyone could have. A celebration of life will be announced. Information provided by survivors. |
