| The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Sunday, January 1, 2017, p. 5a Elgin G. Hirni passed away of natural causes in Prescott, Arizona, on Dec. 27, 2016. Elgin was born in Rockville, Missouri, in 1917. He lived in Papinville, Missouri, until 1955. He then moved to Flagstaff, Arizona. From there he moved to Payson, Arizona, where he retired. After the loss of his wife, Luella, Elgin moved to Dewey, Arizona. Elgin is survived by his son, Marvin; six grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. Burial will be in Payson’s Mountain Meadow Memorial Park Cemetery, with graveside services at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2017. Information provided by survivors. |
