Frank Ehle Dies Saturday At Hospital

Frank A. Ehle, member of a pioneer Arizona family, who has been ill for some time, passed away Saturday evening a week after he had been admitted to a local hospital.

Born in Prescott on February 26, 1881, his father was John Ehle who came to this country in the earl 1860's and was owner of the Ehle House that was a popular landmark in Prescott standing aty the corner of Montezuma and Willis streets at the present location of the Coronado apartments.

His entire life was spent generally in Yavapai county and for the past several yers he has lived with Mrs. Ehle at their ranch in Skull Valley. Throughout his life he was interested in various mining and ranching ventures and was an early day freighter in this district.

Surviving are his widow, Adelia; his daughter, Mrs. Fred A. Schemmer of Prescott and three brothers, James of Prescott and William and Lande E. of Phoenix.

The funeral; will be conducted from the Lester Ruffner Funeral Home tomorrow at 2 p.m. The Rev. David Trimble will officiate and interment will be at the Mountain View cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gail Gardner, Fred Patton, Tot Young, Ali Stapp, Lee Murphy, Chester Sharp and Raymond Shook.
