Carol Lee (Slingluff) Wilfong

Carol (Slingluff) Wilfong, 75, passed away in Prescott, Arizona on January 2, 2017. She was born on May 14, 1941 in Swickley, Pennsylvania.

Carol graduated from Ambridge High School in 1960. She was preceded in death by her parents Harry and Dorothy Slingluff. Carol is survived by her loving husband of 56 years James, a brother Doug Slingluff, a daughter Kimberly (Robert), son Steve (Karie), grandsons Dustin (Amanda), Joshua (Bailey), Terry (Sarah), Robert (Seneca), and Collin, five great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Carol was an administrative assistant for Sperry, G.E., Honeywell and an Avon manager as well as a girl scout leader and girls softball coach/manager during her 37 years in Phoenix.

She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Carol will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know her.

A celebration of Carol’s life will be held at Ruffner Wakelin Prescott Chapel, 303 S. Cortez St. Prescott, Arizona on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 1:00 pm.

In Lieu of flowers please make a donation in Carol’s name to Alzheimer’s Association of Arizona, 1082 E. McDowell Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85006.
