Death of Mrs. E. W. French

About a week or ten days ago Mrs. E. W. French, wife of ex-Probate Judge E. W. French, while walking in front of her house, slipped and fell, sustaining injuries which resulted in her death about 1 o'clock this morning.

Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Moore, of Walnut Grove, were immediately notified of the accident and came up last week, and, with her husband, gave her the most careful nursing possible.

Deceased came her with her parents when she was but a child and has resided in Prescott and Walnut Grove ever since. She was a woman of noble impulses, generous and sympathetic in her nature, and was beloved by a large circle of friends.

She leaves a husband and three children, father, mother and brother to mourn her untimely death.

The remains will be taken on tonight's train to Kirkland valley, thence by wagon to Walnut Grove for burial.

Her relatives have the sincere sympathy of the entire community in their bereavement.
