Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ >>> Published on Thursday, January 26, 2017 <<< James (Jamie) Kirkwood passed gently Jan. 5, 2017 in Lake Havasu City, surrounded by his loving family. Jamie was born April 19, 1960, in Southern California to Jim and Barbara Kirkwood, he was the youngest of their three children. Jamie will be remembered by his contagious smile, his funny stories and also his kind heart that he opened to anyone who gave him a listen. He lived life to the fullest with vacations, golfing, boating, off-roading, and anything that got his adrenaline going. He loved to laugh and loved people even more. Jamie was preceded in heaven by his father Jim, mother Barbara and brother Ed. Jamie leaves behind his wife and lifelong soulmate, Stacy Kirkwood, his “spitting image of a son” Zachary Kirkwood, his loving big sister Debra (Richard) Farrelly, brother-in-law and sister in-law Chip and Teri Romer, nephews Seth Farrelly, Jesse Romer and Matt Romer, nieces Shannon and Vanessa Kirkwood and Kate Romer, and many lifelong friends. He will be sorely missed by all of his friends and family. A celebration of Jamie’s life will be announced at a later date. Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
