Alexander (Al) Stewart

Alexander “Al” Stewart, 75, of Lake Havasu City passed away Jan. 5,
2017.

He was born to Alexander and Lucille Stewart June 28, 1941 in
Brooklyn, New York.

Al grew up in Brooklyn. As an adult, he moved to Bellfower, Calif.
then finally made his way to Lake Havasu City in the early 1990s. Al
was employed as a bartender and a club manager.

Al enjoyed all types of adventures such as taking cruises, sky
diving, bungee jumping, driving to Bearizona, and taking trips to
the Phoenix Zoo. A favorite pasttime was relaxing on his porch with
a cold beer and enjoying the company of his friends and family.

He was blessed to have found love three times in his life, and is
preceded in death by wives Kathy, Betty and Donna. He was also
preceded by his parents Alexander and Lucille Stewart, brothers
James and Kevin and sister Christine.

Al is survived by his son James “Sammy” Stewart, step-children
Diane, Jeanette, and Cheri, sisters Monica, Catherine and Margaret,
10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and six great-great-
grandchildren. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

A memorial service is at the Elks Lodge in Havasu on Feb. 5 at 11
a.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be sent to AEA
Major Projects, Children’s Medical Research.

Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
