| Prescott Evening Courier, Prescott, Arizona Monday, October 15, 1928, page 6, column 5 Summer Complaint Is Cause Of Boy's Death Lawrence E. Owen, 14 month-old son of Dr. and Mrs. Carl Owen of Murphy Park, died in St. Joseph's hospital, Phoenix, at 10:45 o'clock last night of summer's complaint of four days standing, after everything possible had been done to retard the progress of the illness. Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow afternoon in the family residence at 2:30 o'clock, followed by burial in the I.O.O.F. cemetery. The little boy was rushed to Phoenix yesterday afternoon, where, it was thought the services of specialists might have saved his life, but all of their efforts were of no avail.
