Woodland, resident of Prescott for about 35 years, died at his home, 207 South Virginia street this morning, after an illness of several months. He operated a barber shop on South Montezuma street for many years before ill health compelled him to retire from business. He was a member of the Thumb Butte Masonic lodge and of the Zion A. M. E. church. A sister, Mrs. Robinson, died here a few years ago. Funeral arrangements are pending at the Lester Ruffner Funeral Home. Transcriber's note: Mr. Woodland is buried in the Citizens Cemetery in Prescott, Arizona with his wife, Berta L. (Wood) Woodland.
